Lucky Lynn Scoops The Prize! 

Thank you to all who bought tickets for our Bumper Draw this year. We are delighted to report that over 40,000 tickets were sold throughout the summer - thank you so much to everyone who took part. A £1 donation might not sound like a lot, but when so many people contribute it makes a real difference to the hospice.

The draw took place at Atlantic Village, Bideford, on 13th November and the lucky winner picked out of the drum was Mrs Lynn Kitchen. Lynn bought her ticket during the summer holidays from The Big Sheep and she admitted winning the prize was not actually at the forefront of her mind. "I have always supported local hospices so when I saw the tickets on sale at The Big Sheep I had no hesitation in contributing. I know what vital work hospices do so I was happy to support in whatever way I could, I never imagined for a minute that I would end up winning though! That is an incredible bonus!"

As it turns out, Lynn has chosen to take the £5,000 cash alternative as a prize because she already owns her own car. North Devon Hospice would like to thank Blights Motors for their sponsorship of this year's Bumper Draw as well as all the other local businesses who helped promote it. The money raised really will make a difference to local people affected by the impact of serious illness.
